Saxum is the result of an odd triad formed by an architect, a financial advisor and a builder.
Together they decided to start changing the architectural landscape of Costa Rica, one housing development at a time. With that in mind, we decided that the resulting brand needed to be the visual representation of that same statement: a solid bold brand that will portrait the before and after of how costa ricans live. We wanted the character “X” to be not just the focal point of the logo but also its icon, a shape so loaded with meanings clearly deserved a main role in the
branding we were creating. And so we gave the “X” the opportunity to shine and that’s when
the magic started. Behold!
